San Blas is reached by a 4×4 ride over the mountains from Panama City, followed by a boat transfer to the islands. The journey takes about 2–3 hours total. We arrange transfers for all our guests.
All our San Blas sailing trips include the boat, captain and crew, accommodation on board, snorkeling equipment, kayaks and meals (breakfast and dinner). Lunches and alcoholic drinks are typically extra.
Catamarans are wider and more stable, with more deck space, privacy and comfort — ideal for families and groups. Sailboats provide a more authentic sailing experience and are ideal for smaller groups or couples seeking adventure at a lower price point.
San Blas is open year-round with 365 sunny days. The dry season (December–April) offers calmer winds and flatter seas. The rainy season (May–November) has fewer tourists and lower prices.
